Publication Standards

Ethical conduct, transparency and editorial responsibility.

VJ Publications recognises the importance of ethical conduct, transparency, and editorial responsibility in scholarly publishing.

The organisation supports the following publication principles, which are implemented through the policies and editorial procedures of its respective journals.

Editorial Independence

Editorial decisions should be based on the scientific merit, originality, relevance, and academic quality of submitted manuscripts. Commercial interests should not influence decisions concerning manuscript acceptance or rejection.

Peer-Review Standards

Submitted manuscripts should undergo editorial screening and the peer-review process specified by the respective journal.

IJAMPH follows a double-blind peer-review process, in which the identities of authors and reviewers are concealed from one another.

Research and Publication Ethics

Authors are expected to follow applicable ethical standards, including institutional ethics committee approval where necessary, informed consent, patient confidentiality, and responsible reporting of research involving human or animal participants.

Originality and Plagiarism

Authors must submit original scholarly work and acknowledge all relevant sources appropriately.

Suspected plagiarism, duplicate publication, fabricated data, falsified results, and other forms of research misconduct should be investigated in accordance with the applicable journal policies.

Authorship and Accountability

All listed authors should meet the relevant authorship criteria, approve the submitted manuscript, and accept responsibility for their contributions.

Guest authorship, gift authorship, and undisclosed changes in authorship are discouraged.

Conflicts of Interest

Authors, editors, and reviewers should disclose relevant financial and non-financial competing interests that could influence the evaluation or interpretation of scholarly work.

Corrections and Retractions

Concerns about published content, including substantive errors or research misconduct, should be reviewed through the applicable editorial procedures.

Corrections, expressions of concern, or retractions may be issued when justified to preserve the integrity of the scholarly record.

Transparency in Publishing

Information regarding editorial policies, author guidelines, peer review, publication charges, copyright, and contact details should be publicly accessible through the respective journal website.

Commitment to Recognised Guidelines

VJ Publications supports responsible publication practices informed by recognised scholarly publishing principles, including relevant recommendations from the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE).
